I believe the objective of faith is to have so much faith in God’s love for us, that even when we are hurt in the worse way possible, we know that he loves us enough to not let us continuously feel the pain. I believe the objective of building up faith is to reach a spiritual point that allows us to have hope and a healthy expectation of restoration on the other side of our pain.
The most powerful being in the universe loves YOU.
Your Father is so powerful, that he parts seas, stops the world from spinning, and brings life back to the dead.
Not only is your Father all powerful, but, he loves you to death and back to life again, literally.
He also loves you so much, that he conquered death for you.
With that in mind, is there really any reason to fear? It’s understandable to not want to have to go through pain and suffering. But, in the face of all that is true about your Father’s love for you and His power, is there really any reason to have paralyzing, depressing fear? The answer is NO.
If you know that he will flood you with his spirit, to wash away all pain that you feel and instead give you peace, joy and healing, will you still choose to give up all hope and give up on life?
It’s not the things that happen to us that destroy us. It is the emotional backlash and mental stress that occurs as a result of it that destroys us. Therefore, a remedy for the aftermath is in essence a remedy for the offense. Jesus is the remedy. His gift of restoration, being flooded with emotions of unexplainable peace is the remedy. This is why you are more than a conqueror in all things.
The purpose of this post is not to tell you that you should not feel sad and broken when horrible things happen to you. You are human and your human emotions are natural are necessary.
The purpose of this post is to give you hope so that you don’t remain stuck in that broken emotional place.
I just want you to know that God loves you. God sees all, and if you ask, he will send the comforter, The Holy Ghost, to soothe your pain and restore you.
Just cry out to Jesus and ask.
